We offer 20 free hours for children of all ages, including babies, helping to further reduce childcare costs while ensuring access to high-quality early learning. These free hours support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing and consistent environment. This is not a one off or short term promotion. This is our commitment to Waikato families.
30 Hours ECE Funding for Preschoolers 3-6 years
30 Hours ECE funding is available for children aged 3 years and over. This option combines the standard 20 Hours ECE funding with an additional 10 funded hours, providing families with increased flexibility for longer days or more regular attendance. These additional hours help families balance work, study, and family life while maintaining continuity of care for their child.
Minimum Enrolment Requirements
To support stable routines and meaningful learning experiences, minimum enrolment requirements apply. For children under 3 years of age using 20 Hours ECE funding, a minimum enrolment of 6 hours per day is required.
For children aged 3 years and over using 30 Hours ECE funding, a minimum enrolment of 32 hours per week applies. These requirements help ensure children benefit from consistent attendance, strong relationships, and a high-quality early learning programme.
WHAT WE SUPPLY AT VILLA AROHA

We provide three nutritious meals a day—morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea—prepared by our onsite chef, who can cater to any dietary requirements, allergies, or preferences.
In addition, children who are picked up after 4:30 pm receive a late snack. Children dropped off before 8:30 am can either bring their own breakfast or choose to have breakfast provided for a small additional fee.

Sunscreen is provided for all children. If you prefer your child to use a specific sunscreen brand, you are welcome to bring one from home, clearly named, and we will apply this to your child as requested.
Wipes and nappies are included in the fees for children up to 3 years of age. Please note that the largest nappy size we provide is size 5.

You can stay connected to your child’s learning journey through our online portal, Educa. In addition, your child will also have a hard-copy portfolio book, which they love using to share their learning, achievements, and experiences with their friends and teachers.
